Moto GP, BSB, Skerries and Mallory Park – 06/07/2012
As MotoGP contests its second of three races in successive weekends, Jorge Lorenzo Casey Stoner are level on championship points.
After the event in Assen last weekend the season is now into a frenzy with the prospect of the championship becoming even more closely contested that before.
A win for Pedrosa would bring him right back into the frame after his second place finish at Assen the weekend before.
After a 5th placed finish at Assen Cal Crutchlow will once again be looking to better his team mate after his blistering pace to finish 3rd. Can Cal nail that podum position that we’re all hoping for this season.
Round 6 of the BSB Championship this weekend, travelling to Oulton Park.
Favourite Tommy Hill is looking to keep hold of the lead that he has at the top of the championship, but with Shakey Byrne and Josh Brookes breathing down his neck it makes for an exciting round as we have all come to love the BSB championship for. Here’s hoping that the weather hold out for the teams and riders when they visit this weekend.
There’s no let up this weekend for bike racing, if the first two events weren’t tickling your fancy then there is always Skerries. As the road race comes to town will a certain Mr Farquhar be able to add to his dominant tally of 5 wins from last season. Looking to add to that impressive tally this weekend no doubt.
Lastly there’s MAllory 1,000 bikes event including 1993 500cc GP World Champion Kevin Schwantz riding an Ex-works Suzuki RGV 500 and Randy Mamola will be riding his original 1980 Suzuki XR34M1. Just a few of the things in store for one of the biggest non-race meets of the year.
As usual, we’ll be there come rain or shine.
