SYNETIQ BMW

2020 see’s the 20th anniversary of father & son Hector and Philip Neill joining forces to become team owners in the world of road racing.

(Philip previously competing as an International moto cross racer, whilst Hector enjoyed much success during the 1970’s & 80’s, with his privateer team ).

This year the Northern Ireland based TAS Racing team welcome’s SYNETIQ as new lead partner to the BMW Motorrad UK’s official British Superbike Team, thus adopting the title of…SYNETIQ BMW Motorrad.

New to the sport, SYNETIQ is the largest salvage and vehicle dismantling company in the UK.

The team also has two new riders, with young chargers Bradley Ray and Taylor Mackenzie joining the squad to campaign the team’s S1000RR machines.

23 year old Bradley Ray is without doubt one of this country’s most talented riders. Already a previous BSB race winner, it will be no big surprise if the frizzy haired rider from Lydd in Kent, becomes a regular visitor to the podium this year – which could well include a few to the top step!

Champion of the National Superstock 1000 class in 2016, and runner up in the same category last year, Taylor Mackenzie becomes Ray’s teammate and makes his return to the Superbikes following disappointing performances in both 2015 & ‘17.  Having raced the ‘stocker’ BMW over the past two years with great success, the hugely likeable Scottish born rider however should be right at home with the Superbike. Podiums are certainly not out of the question for ‘TMac’ and he could well prove to be the surprise package of the series.
