Cumbrian chicken magnate, Paul Bird is the most successful team owner in the history of BSB, having won the prestigious British Superbike Title on 7 separate occasions – and it’s a record he is keen to extend!
2019 was ultra successful for the Penrith based PBM squad, which saw his two riders finish 1-2 in the standings, with Scott Redding beating Josh Brookes by the slender margin of 5 points.
Understandably the Aussie, and 2015 BSB champion retains his seat at PBM, and with a years experience on the bike will not be settling for anything less than going one place better than last year!
Brookes is joined by Stockports Christian Iddon, who’s results over recent years have been plagued by injury & sheer bad luck, but make no mistake, he is highly talented & highly experienced, having raced in both World Super Sport & World Superbikes.
The ride is a dream opportunity for the likeable Iddon. However it doesn’t come without pressures & ‘The Boss’ will expect results, meaning a place in Showdown phase is a must…..which automatically translate into being a championship contender!
Both rides will be using brand new factory-backed Panigale V4R Ducatis.
